Marshall, Texas – Anissa Guiterrez and Kessie Jenkins recorded a team-high eight points each and combined for seven boards but it was not nearly enough as Hendrix dropped a non-conference contest to East Texas Baptist University 85-39 on Tuesday.
Belle Nielson added a career-high seven points in the loss while Caroline Wendt added four rebounds for the Warriors. Hendrix falls to 2-3 on the year while ETBU improves to 3-3.
Hendrix hits the road to Jackson, Mississippi on Saturday to take on Louisiana College at 11 a.m. in the first day of the 2019 Millsaps Classic.
